Tindoora Methi baath: (One Pot meal)

Cela me donne faim!

Chitra's Healthy Kitchen

Tindora rice1

About:

This recipe is inspired by maharastrian masala baath, which is a fairly simple preparation, relying on roasted spices for flavour.

Making rice out of vegetables is a healthy way to sneak more nutrients into meals for you and your family. You might be surprised — not only does this rice taste just like the real thing, it’s quicker and easier to make than regular rice.

Health benefits of Tindoora/Ivy gourd:

Ivy gourd has been considered as a therapeutic herb in traditional Thai as well as Ayurvedic medication. The parts utilized in diabetes treatment include the leaves; however the primary usage of ivy gourd is cookery, which is regarded as a veggie. Ivy gourd includes beta-carotene, an important vitamin A precursor from plant sources also an excellent source of protein and fiber.

Les fiancés de Déborah Levy-Bertherat

Sur la route de Jostein

jaquette les fiances ok.inddTitre : Les fiancés
Auteur : Deborah Lévy-Bertherat
Éditeur : Payot
Nombre de pages : 230
Date de parution : avril 2015

Auteur :
Mon avis :

C’est une bonne invention !

flow hive honey on tap (6)

Flow Hive is a revolutionary beehive invention, allowing you to harvest honey without opening the hive and with minimal disturbance to the bees. The ground-breaking project launched on Indiegogo earlier this year with a modest goal of $70,000 USD.

The project became a worldwide sensation and Indiegogo’s most successful crowdfunding campaign in history, raising $12,204,614 USD, 17,435% beyond their initial goal.

Honey on Tap from Your Own Beehive

How it started

Flow Hive is the culmination of a decade-long endeavour by Cedar Anderson and his father Stuart Anderson. The family has been keeping bees for generations and Cedar started his first hive when he was just six years old. Anderson explains:

« Many years ago….I went down to one of my beehives, which I knew was a pretty wild hive. It was getting on towards evening and a bit of a grey day, not the best time for beekeeping!

Apple ring pancakes drizzled with chocolate: Guest Post for Vidya

Chitra's Healthy Kitchen

Apple pancakes6

It was a great honour for me to do a toddler guest for my blogger friend Vidya, who blogs at Traditionally Modern Food. She has an amazing blog and love her recipes, which she brings from her childhood.

V is been supportive in my journey and she takes time to visit and leave a feedback for each of my post. Please check my post on her blog Apple Pancakes

About this recipe:

For an adorable twist on the usual pancake recipe, whip up these delicious apple ring pancakes. Slice fresh apples — any variety will work.  The taste? Well it’s a bit donut-ty (yes really, try it!), it’s soft and pillowy. They cook just like regular pancakes, and the apples soften slightly, so when you take your first bite, the apple is slightly crisp but oh so warm and juicy. There’s the perfect amount of sweetness.

These were drizzled…
